Featured X-Ray: Case Summary:A general dentist started root canals on teeth 4 and 5. She said she kept hitting something hard and decided to stop treatment. She sent the patient to me. I looked at the radiograph and was able to tell this was going to be complicated. Both teeth were treated in on visit. Both teeth had 3 canals. Technique. Pt was anesthetized with 2 Carp 2% Xylo 1/100 epi Rubber Dam Isolation Access under Microscope Used high speed round bur to locate canals Copious full strength NaOCl Handfiles 06, 08, 10 was used to create a glide path Pathfiles rotary were used to further open up canal Pro-Taper was used for coronal flaring Apex Locator was used to measure lengths Edge Endo Files 25/04 were used MB and DB finished with 25 Palatal finished with 30 Dr. Rico D.
